Pro-Choice, Anti-Drug Hypocrisy

Re: Why the Drug War Fails

One point that I don't see anyone bringing up, is the hypocrisy of
pro-choicers who maintain that (even though it results in the death
of a--as yet, unborn--human) women should have the right to make
decisions that effect their own body, yet would deny the same rights
to those that choose to use drugs. As for abortion rights, I am
pretty much neutral on the subject and don't consider myself as pro-
life or pro-choice, however, I am appalled by the hypocrisy of those
that argue for pro-choice and at the same time support the misguided
war on drugs.

The media continues to highlight abortion as a major issue, while
completely ignoring the fact that drugs users are continually being
prosecuted for behavior that potentially harms no one but themselves.
It's madness.
