re: Why the Drug War Fails

I agree 100% with your opportunistic attitude toward voter
registration. Having given up my Democratic Party registration in
1996 to be an Independent opposing the prohibition against
responsible regulation of intoxicant drugs, I too register to one of
the two dominance parties in the primaries to vote for particular
candidates.

When registered as an Independent I get a lot more opinion survey
calls than when I am registered as a sycophant for one of the
parties. Party leaders don't need to poll for the opinions of their
insiders since those opinions are dictated from the leadership.

You may want to have this bit of anti-drug war ammunition to work
with going forward.
