Beer NOT a Green Panacea

Sorry. Living green by drinking huge quantities of beer just won't work. Like many schemes that depend upon people doing what somebody else thinks is good for them, the law of unintended consequences comes into play. Large quantities of beer drunk - large quantities of used beer deposited in recepticals designed for such use, and flushed into the sewer, along with 50 to 60 times as much water - water which was laboriously and expensively acquired, filtered, treated and delivered. The world already has a shortage of drinkable water. Our Lake Okeechobee is at it's lowest point in recorded history. Also, you will overwhelm the facilities which treat this waste, and untreated waste will spill out into rivers and oceans, destroying reefs, killing fish, making beaches unsafe and therefore cutting drastically the beach population of bikini (or even topless thong) clad ladies. We certainly don't want that.
